What are vaccinations and which should you have carried out?

There are infectious diseases whose outbreak can be prevented by vaccination or significantly reduce the risk. The Standing Vaccination Commission (STIKO) recommends that some standard vaccinations be carried out, which apply to all age groups

This includes vaccinations against:

• diphtheria
• tetanus
• pertussis
• polio
• Haemophilus influenzae type b
• hepatitis B
• measles
• mumps
• rubella
• chickenpox, if necessary

You are welcome to have the standard vaccinations as well as youth vaccinations carried out by your general practitioner in Leimen.

Which vaccinations are also important?

In addition to the standard vaccinations mentioned above, certain risk groups, such as older people and people with pre-existing conditions, should consider specific vaccinations.
